Where the dinosaur lives

Aimee and Dane wed in Spring of 2016 in the Granite Belt region of Ballendean. You may have driven through the little township on a road trip and passed the giant dinosaur facing the main highway. Its a beautiful drive with grassy paddocks, broken up with huge granite formations, towering gum trees, and waterways.

The ceremony was held on the family's vineyard, in front of the farm dam, with the reception in a vintage town hall opposite the giant dinosaur which stands aside on the highway.

Aimee loved the idea of fresh greens and whites for her floral styling, offset with accents of amber and gold within the decor styling. The family made the arbour onsite for the ceremony and we dressed it on the day with floral and foliage accents. She created little gold dinosaur figurines which lined the tables, and also acted as table numbers. We filled the vases Aimee collected onsite with loose arrangements of the same flowers to those of which we used in Aimee bouquet for consistency along with the addition of some filler foliage and blooms.

Our favourite task was the hanging foliage installation which towered above the guest tables at the reception, creating such a lush atmosphere within the space. Aimee bouquet was such and romantic using the freshest in season blooms some of which included; Garden Roses, Blushing Bride, Andromeda, Sweet Peas, Ranunculus to name a few.

We can't thank Aimee and Dane enough for allowing Green and Bloom to be a part of their wedding day. We had a blast with the concept.
